    Personal security
    Where people have to work in isolation or under hazardous conditions, say, cyclical calls can be placed to DECT phone users to check that they are still responding. Alternatively, users can trigger alarms themselves using an emergency button.

    Precise network-wide positioning
    When used in conjunction with a positioning server, HiPath DAKS can pinpoint the exact position of DECT users within a HiPath corporate network.

    E-mail/text message services for system phones
    Job orders, changes of schedule/location and fault reports are just a few examples of the kind of information that can be mailed automatically to the phones of individual users, multiple users and predefined groups.

    (Web-based) phone conferences
    The ability to organize phone conferences spontaneously can be crucial to crisis managers when disaster strikes, to members of distributed teams who need to coordinate their work, or to management teams who have to take far-reaching decisions at short notice.

    Announcement and monitoring services
