Snom 300
Professional VoIP phone
The basic model of the snom business telephone family, the snom 300, fulfils the most important requirements of VoIP telephony and additionally offers numerous functions that are indispensable in the business world.
For effective everyday work, the snom 300 provides all relevant office functions such as choice of trunk line, status display, group lines, the engaged option or picking up calls. VPN and a server-independent CTI (link to Flexor Eumel) are now also no problem for the snom 300.
A two-line LCD display enables the display of call information. The menu-driven user interface makes it very easy to manage numerous features. The user is guided intuitively through the phone menu via the navigation key. Additionally, more complex phone applications, call details, and configuration variations are accessible via the browser of the connected PC.
The snom 300 has six free function keys. The advantage for the user: He or she can freely decide what functions like hold, call transfer, call forward, or access mail box to map onto these keys. For other available functions please see the data sheet.
The snom 300 is designed for different environments: For use in small offices, call centers, lobbies, recreation rooms, as well as at home. With its numerous phone functions, the demands of everyday communication can be managed easily. The snom 300 has a headset connector and can be used as a tabletop phone or wall-mounted phone. Its energy consumption of 1.0-1.5 W-hr is lower than that of most competing products.
As the snom 300 supports all of the common compression codecs such as G.729a and G.723.1, it is compatible with numerous components of other manufacturers and can be used in low-bandwidth environments. An integrated 2 Ethernet port switch enables connection to the network over an RJ-45 interface simultaneously with the PC connection!

Usability
The IP telephone with the latest VoIP technology for the discerning caller! Ideal for ITSPs, offices, and private users. As the basic model of the snom business telephone family, the SIP telephone snom 300 fulfils the requirements of VoIP telephony and additionally offers numerous functions that are indispensable for everyday working life. Due to its excellent cost-performance ratio, it is ideal both for ITSP packages/products and for small and medium-sized enterprises, home offices, and private users.
Security
The snom 300 sets new standards when it comes to user-friendliness: A two-line LCD display shows call information, and the menu-driven user interface provides simple feature management. The snom 300 is synonymous with effectiveness, time saving and flexibility: It provides all necessary office functionalities, for example choice of outgoing identity, “busy” indication, or picking up calls. Four identities are possible. Six user- or administrator-configurable (or carrier-preconfigurable) function keys can easily be allocated to arbitrary menu functions like DND, redirection,
deny, etc., or assigned to multiple lines.
Interoperability
The snom 300 comes factory-equipped with two of its six programmable keys configured as line appearances. You can configure up to all six function keys this way – flexible enough to suit the needs of every user.
Are you afraid of unsolicited eavesdroppers, data theft, or spam calls? Thanks to the snom 300 you have no need to worry. Due to the security standards SRTP and SIPS, the snom 300 is just as secure as the business models snom 360 and 320. This makes it perfectly suited for use in sensitive environments such as in banks and medical or military establishments.
